Why Aluminium?

Aluminium is one of the most abundant metals available, and almost every aluminium product can be commercially recycled at the end of its useful life, without loss of metal quality or properties. In addition to its environmental benefits, there are many other reasons to choose aluminium, ranging from its aesthetically pleasing looks to its durability.

Strength and durability: A durable material, aluminium is adaptable to both domestic and commercial applications. It is naturally stronger and more stable than other materials and is commonly used for windows and doors. Additionally it does not warp, rust or need painting.

Appearance and colour: Aluminium profiles are polyester powder coated to BS 6496:1991. Aluminium gives our customers a flexibility of finish that other materials, such as PVCu, cannot. Our standard colours are white, brown, black and silver. Special colours, including one colour inside and another colour outside, can be produced in high-gloss, satin or matt finishes.

Looks and style: Offering the slimmest possible sight-lines coupled with clean and elegant styling, our aluminium products are carefully manufactured by skilled craftsman to create stunning looks that are a class above.

Low maintenance: The tough, protective, polyester powder coat finishes, guarantee that the product will maintain its good looks for years to come, requiring only an occasional wash down. It is resistant to pollution and the dirt and grime that can discolour many other types of materials. At the time of installation the operating fittings are thoroughly cleaned and lubricated. It is recommended this is repeated annually.

Security: Aluminium is ideal for use with multi-point locking systems; its strength gives an extra level of security that passes demanding security and weather-resistant testing.
